“I had 14 different models pose for me in a pin-up inspired Star Wars Calendar.
A LITTLE MORE OBSESSED WORKOUT CALENDAR MOVIE
I waited in a line that wrapped around the movie theater block,” said DeMarco.īut, as it turns out, skipping school wasn’t such a bad idea because it later inspired DeMarco to create something that the Star Wars world has never seen before. I had done the math prior to that and I went a week before on May 12 th to purchase my tickets because you couldn’t buy them online. “I cut school to go see Star Wars Episode One six times. The excitement in 1997 also appeared again in 1999 when DeMarco skipped school just to see Star Wars. I finally got to see the star destroyer super large,” said DeMarco. I must have seen each of the movie’s half a dozen or more times. This was my chance to see them on the big screen finally.

“In 1997 when the special editions were being re-released I was so excited because I had missed out on seeing Star Wars in the movie theater when it was first released. It had everything I wanted as a child, it was super exciting,” said DeMarco.Īs DeMarco got older, his love for Star Wars didn’t diminish like his older cousin, the force grew much, much stronger. So, I grew up playing with the Star Wars toys and watching them on VHS and I just loved it. “I was at the perfect age once I got all of those toys to really kick start my enjoyment of the videos into a whole new level. Ever since then, Joey has entered the dark side and he isn’t leaving any time soon. It was love at first sight for Joey when his cousin, Matt DeMarco, passed down his Star Wars toys to him at age eight. I'll probably do A Little More Obsessed in spite of the reports of excessive chatter because Autumn's workouts are that effective. The force of Star Wars is strong, especially in the mind of Joey Demarco. And I do wish the rest of the cast had microphones. I like this program much better than 21 Day Fix, which as you said didn't have so much chatter.

That said, I like Autumn, and after a year and a half using BOD, 80DO may be the best program I've tried in terms of results. Enough already! The incessant motivational speeches must have been a conscious choice by the producers at Beachbody. I mean if I made it through 40 days if the program, then I must have some level of commitment. But everyday she's telling me things like "Guys, if it wasn't hard, then everyone would be doing it." "Guys, you have to be obsessed, if you want major transformation." "Guys, I know it's hard, but you're capable of this." I find it condescending and joyless, and it take's me out of the moment. It's one thing when she's cueing form and good technique or motivating me to finish the exercise we're currently doing.

I'm halfway through 80DO and am so tired of all the non-stop pep talks/ general motivational speeches. She wasn't like this in 21 Day Fix - I wonder what happened. It's really unfortunate because I actually like the workout - I just wish she would shut up and focus on the workout. And then the random topics and chatter with the the others about random things that we can't really hear because they aren't on microphones. It's like she's trying to convince us all how hard she's working and what a great workout it is. I laughed when Shaun T said he was scared of what was about to come in Pure Cardio, don't mind it when Elise talks about how deceiving the light weights are, etc., but this is just something else. But the constant narrative about how sweaty, tired, and sore she is, how the workout is so difficult.is just strange because its nonstop. I see what people are talking about with all the chatter! I don't even mind chatter that relates to the workout - counting, form, motivation. I really haven't done any Autumn workouts before - just a few "one off" 21 Day Fix and 80DO workouts. I decided to do A Little More Obsessed this week because I needed a change.
